You ask. We answer.
Everything from booking to basecamp. If your question isn't here, WhatsApp us.
How do I book a trek?+

What payment methods do you accept?+
Razorpay handles all online payments, UPI, cards, net banking. For offline bookings, UPI to our QR or cash at our Jaipur office. You'll always receive a payment receipt.
Is the advance refundable?+
The advance is non-refundable. It covers permits, logistics planning, and vendor commitments we make immediately after you book. The balance is due 30 days before departure.
What's your cancellation policy?+
30+ days before departure: 50% refund (excluding advance). 15-30 days: 25% refund. Under 15 days: no refund. You can transfer your booking to a friend at no charge anytime.
How fit do I need to be?+
For Easy/Moderate treks: you should be able to jog 3km or climb 5 floors without stopping. For Difficult treks: 5km run + weekend hikes recommended. See our /fitness guide for a 4-8 week training plan.
What about altitude sickness?+
Above 3,000m everyone feels it to some degree. We build acclimatization days into every itinerary, carry oxygen and diamox, and our guides are trained in AMS recognition. Read our /altitude-guide for preparation tips.
What's included in the price?+
Transport from meeting point, all meals during the trek, tents/homestays, guide, cook, porters, permits, safety equipment, and first aid. Not included: travel insurance, personal gear, tips, and anything not in the itinerary.
What gear do I need?+
We provide tents, sleeping bags, and kitchen equipment. You need: trekking shoes, warm layers, rain jacket, backpack (40-60L), headlamp, water bottle, personal meds. Download the full packing checklist from /resources.
Can I join alone?+
Most of our trekkers come solo. You'll meet the group on Day 1. By the time you reach basecamp, you'll have 10 new friends.
What if the weather is bad?+
Himalayan weather changes fast. We monitor forecasts and have contingency routes. In extreme conditions (landslides, heavy snow), we postpone, your booking transfers to the next batch or a different trek.
Do I need travel insurance?+
Strongly recommended. It should cover high-altitude trekking (up to 5,500m), emergency evacuation, and trip cancellation. We don't sell insurance, see our /insurance page for recommended providers.
How many people per group?+
6-14 trekkers. Small enough that everyone knows each other, big enough for great campfire stories. Our guide-to-trekker ratio is 1:7, so you're never unattended.
What's the Wild vs Slow thing?+
Wild treks push the pace, longer days, higher passes, more type-2 fun. Slow treks take it easier, more stops, photo breaks, campfire time. Pick your rhythm when you book, or ask us which suits you.
How do I reach the meeting point?+
Meeting points are major railway stations or bus stands (Kathgodam, Dehradun, Manali, Leh). We share exact coordinates and recommended trains/buses 7 days before departure in the WhatsApp group.
Can I customize a trek?+
Yes. Use /custom to mix destinations, dates, and package types. Private groups (4+ people) can pick any date. Corporate retreats and founder trips are our specialty.
