Day-by-day Itinerary
Drive: Dehradun → Barsu
Base village for Dayara and Kalanag.
Barsu → Dayara Bugyal
Enter the alpine meadow.
Dayara → Barnala Tal
Glacial lake below the main peak.
Acclimatization day
Rest. Glacier observation. Technical gear fitting.
Barnala → Glacier snout camp
Advance camp at glacier edge.
Glacier camp → High camp
Crampon use begins. Steep glacier.
Summit attempt
Pre-dawn. Summit or high point. Return to high camp.
High camp → Barnala Tal
Descend off the glacier.
Barnala → Barsu
Exit the high zone.
Drive: Barsu → Dehradun
Trek ends.

Do I need prior mountaineering experience?
Yes — this is a glaciated peak. You need basic crampon and ice axe experience at minimum. We run this for people who want their first 6,000m attempt, not absolute beginners.
